STORAGE
PRESSURE WASHER STORAGE
1.
Disconnect the spray gun from the high pressure hose after the
pressure washer is cool and the water pressure is released.
2.
Drain all water from the high pressure hose, coil it and store it in cradle
of pressure washer handle.
3.
Drain all water from the spray gun and spray wand by holding the
spray gun in the vertical position with nozzle pointed downward.
Squeeze trigger to remove fluids. Store in spray gun/hose holder.
4.
Store siphon hose, high pressure hose and spray wand so they are
protected from damage, such as being run over.
PROTECTING INTERNAL SEALS
The internal seals require additional preparation if the pressure washer is
stored for more than 30 days or freezing temperatures are expected.

PUMP SAVER

Pump saver comes in a pressurized or unpressurized container. The liquid
is released from the pressurized container by pressing a button. The
unpressurized version is a squeeze bottle.
1.
Remove the high pressure hose from the pump outlet. Empty the water
from the hose.

You may choose to keep the spray gun connected to the pump to
protect it as well. Keep the trigger depressed while using the pump
saver during step 5 until the liquid no longer flows. Then remove and
store the spray gun along with the hose.
2.
Remove the garden hose from the pump inlet. Empty the water from
the hose.
3.
Force water from the pump by pulling the recoil starter 6 times.
4.
Attach the pump saver container to the pump inlet.
5.
Pressurized – Press the button and wait until the liquid flows through
the outlet port.
Unpressurized – Squeeze the bottle for force the liquid into the pump.
Pull the engine' s recoil rope slowly until liquid flows through the outlet
port. You may need to squeeze additional pump saver liquid into the
pump during this step.
