Recommended amounts are based on medium eggs stored in the refrigerator. The required
amount of water may vary.
Size of eggs and the temperature the eggs are stored at may alter the amount of water needed.
For hard, medium and soft boiled eggs
• Decide how you want to cook your eggs. Using the table provided as a rough guide, measure out
the amount of water needed based on the number of eggs you want to cook. NOTE: The above
table provides approximate amounts of water required. This amount may need to be adjusted
to achieve desired consistency.
• Pour cold water into heating plate.
• Rinse the number of eggs desired – cook up to 10 eggs at a time.
• Place the lower cooking rack on to the base of the unit. The ribs on side handles should be facing
upward.
• Using the piercing pin located under the beaker, pierce top side of each egg and place in
cooking tray. Rinse pin after each use. To cook more than 7 eggs – up to 10 total – place the
upper cooking rack on to the center of the lower rack, resting the raised edges carefully on the
tops of eggs below. Pierce each egg before placing it on upper cooking rack. Ensure the eggs are
placed in the cooking rack with the pin hole facing upwards.
• Place lid on top of unit and slide power switch to the « I » position. Indicator light will be lit.
• When water is completely evaporated, the cooking cycle ends and a steady audible tone will
sound and indicator light will turn off .
• Slide power switch to the « O » position. NOTE: Once the unit cools off , it will automatically turn
on again if the switch is not manually moved to the « O » position.
