damaged. In that case, take the appliance to the nearest
qualified service center for check-up and repair.
• Close supervision is necessary when the appilance is
used near or by children.
• Never pull the cord to remove the plug from the
socket.
• Never leave an operating appliance unattended.
• Only use the appliance for the purpose for which it
was designed.
• Never touch hot surfaces.
• Never immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in
water or other liquids to prevent fire, electrical shock
or injuries.
• Never pour perfumed liquids, vinegar or other
chemical fluids into the water tank. These could
seriously damage the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance anymore if it has been
dropped, if there is visible damage or if the appliance
is leaking.
• Do not wind the cord around the iron before the iron
has cooled down completely.
• Do not try to open the housing or do not try to remove
parts from the appliance.
• Do not use the travel iron simultaneously with other
high wattage appliances (for example a hair dryer) to
prevent the fuse from blowing.
• Let the appliance cool down for at least half an hour
before storing it. The iron will cool down quicker if
you remove the plug from the socket and run the hot
