FAMILIARIZING YOURSELF WITH YOUR MASK (FIGURE 4)
1. PRESS — Press the two Upper Mask Bridge Levers
and remove the Mask from the Forehead Rest. This
allows you to remove the Mask without removing
the Headgear.
3. PULL — In one hand, hold the body of the Mask and
with the other hand, pull the two Lower Mask Bridge
Levers upward from the top and move the mask
bridge back and forth. This action permits the Mask
to be adjusted to the proper angle of your nose.
5. PULL/PUSH — While holding the Mask Elbow, pull off
and push on the air supply tubing Quick-Connect.
This allows you to remove the air supply tubing with-
out removing the Mask.
7. PRESS — Press the two tabs on the Headgear Buckle
on the bottom strap of the Headgear to disconnect

NOTE–This should remain disconnected until headgear is
applied.

2. PUSH — Gently push the Mask Bridge into the
Forehead Rest – it is not necessary to press the Mask
Bridge Levers when inserting the Mask Bridge into the
Forehead Rest. Repeat this a few times until you are
familiar with the action. Note that this piece swings
freely to allow for proper fit to the angle of your fore-
head.
4. PULL — Pull the Elbow Lock forward halfway and
move the Mask Elbow to the upright position. Using
your two index fingers on either side of the Elbow,
pull the Elbow Lock down to lock the Mask Elbow
into place. This allows you to orient the Headgear
over the top of your head if desired. Push the Elbow
Lock back into place to permit 360 degree rotation.
6. TURN — While holding the Mask Elbow, turn the
Adjustable Vent from one side to the other. This
allows you to direct the flow of exhaled air away
from yourself or your bed partner.
NOTE–The Headgear has an optional Over-The-Head
Strap. This can be applied if you choose this
option Figure 3.
NOTE–An optional Forehead Pad with Velcro Hook
Strap is enclosed. It can be attached to the
original Forehead Pad for added comfort.
