e) Single/Quad/Auto Mode
The screen/DVR offers three different display modes. To switch between the display modes, push the but-
ton „
" on the screen/DVR or the IR remote control repeatedly. The top of the display shows an icon for
the respective display mode.
= Single mode
The selected channel (1, 2, 3 or 4) is displayed permanently. The button „4" on the screen/DVR or the
IR-remote control can be used to manually switch to a different channel. The top left of the display shows
the associated channel number of the currently active channel.
Unused channels can be deactivated in the OSD menu (e.g. if you only operate two cameras at channels
1 and 2, channels 3 and 4 can be deactivated), see chapter 11 c), function „Activation".
= Quad mode
All four channels are displayed at once. The displays are reduced to 1/4 of the regular size. The top left
of each small image shows the associated channel number.
= Auto mode
The screen/DVR switches the channels automatically and displays the image of each channel for a few
seconds each before switching on to the next channel.
Channels that are not assigned (e.g. if you only use two cameras at channels 1 and 2), are not dis-
played.
You may also switch off certain channels in the OSD menu if they are not to be displayed in the auto
mode, see chapter 11 c), function „Activation".
f) Starting/Terminating Recording Manually
Push the button „REC" (6) on the screen/DVR or the button „REC/STOP" on the IR remote control to start
or terminate the recording.
If a recording is running, the lower right of the display shows a red dot.
During recording, some operating functions are not possible. For example, the OSD menu cannot
be called.
g) Display of the Signal Strength
At the upper right of the display (in Quad mode at the upper right in each of the four camera
screens), a symbol is displayed for displaying the signal strength of the received radio signal
of the camera. The more dashes are visible, the stronger the signal is received.
