10. Basic Functions
a) Switching On/Off
Briefly push the button „
off.
The radio cameras cannot be switched on or off. They work permanently if the power is connec-
ted.
b) Calling/Leaving OSD Menu
Briefly push the button „MENU" on the radio camera or the IR remote control. Then the main menu is
displayed.
To leave the OSD menu, also briefly push the button „MENU" (several times if required, if the screen/DVR
is in a submenu.
c) Activating/Deactivating AV Output
Use the button „AV" on the screen/DVR or the IR-remote control to switch between playback of the AV-
signal on the screen/DVR and the AV-output.
If the AV-output is activated, the screen/DVR display goes out.
d) Setting the Volume
As a special feature, the small housing (19) in the radio camera's cable holds a microphone. The radio
camera therefore not only shows the image of the monitored area, but also permits hearing monitored
sound.
The playback volume at the screen/DVR can be set at the screen/DVR or via the IR remote control:
„8" button = increase volume
„2" button = reduce volume
At the bottom left of the display, a small speaker icon with the currently set volume level appears when the
button is pushed. this display goes out again after a few seconds.
If the radio camera is operated too close to the screen/DVR (e.g. for testing at initial commissi-
oning or when logging the radio camera on to the screen/DVR), there may be a feedback and
whistling sound. Then reduce the volume as described above.
The volume cannot be set in zoom mode, since the arrows are used to move the visible section of
the screen here. If required, briefly switch to the quad or auto mode (see chapter 10 e) by pushing
the button „
" on the screen/DVR or the IR remote control to switch the screen/DVR on or
