4. Safety instructions
The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
the operating instructions. We will not assume liability for any resulting damage.
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury, caused by improper use
or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases the guarantee is voided.
Dear customer, The following safety instructions and risk information do not serve for protection of the
device but for protection of your health. Please read carefully through the following points:

For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to the product are not
permitted.
•
All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this device must be trained and qualified
correspondingly and observe these operating instructions.
•
The device is designed according to protection class II. As a voltage source only a proper power socket (230V~/
50Hz) of the public power supply system may be used.
•
This product is equipped with a laser (class 1). Never open the device! A laser label is affixed to the device to
caution the users. Do not remove the warning sign from the appliance. Do not open up the appliance or attempt
to reach any interior components. Never look directly into the laser beam. Laser radiation can seriously damage
your eyes.
•
The device must be set up correctly. Please also follow these operating instructions.
•
Make sure the mains cable is not squashed, bent, damaged through sharp edges or otherwise subjected to
mechanical strain. Avoid excess thermal stress on the mains cable through excess heat or cold. Do not modify
the mains cable. This may damage the mains cable. A damaged power cord can result in a life-threatening electric
shock.
•
If the cables show damages, do not touch them. First of all, de-energize the corresponding mains socket (e.g.
via the respective circuit-breaker) and afterwards carefully pull the mains plug from the socket. Separate the
mains cable from the device. Never use the product if the power line is damaged.
•
In order to completely separate the device from the electricity net, you have to pull the mains plug of the CD player
out of the wall socket. It is not sufficient to turn the CD player off with the on/off switch.
