11. Anti-shock memory
The device is equipped with a digital anti-shock memory. This reduces the risk of skips during playback when the
device is subjected to vibrations.
The anti-shock memory is loaded automatically when the audio data is read. The device needs a few seconds until
the memory is full and can work optimally.
The saved data quantity corresponds to approx. 40 seconds music playback. During this time, the anti-shock memory
can „compensate" skips, which would otherwise result through short blows during music playback.
12. Handling
•
Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device was taken from a cold to a warm
environment. The resulting condensation water may damage the device.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation water has
evaporated.
•
Never pull the mains plug by pulling the cable from the socket. Always only use the thus provided grip area.
•
Remove the mains plug from the electrical outlet if the device is not in use for a longer period of time.
•
For safety reasons always pull the mains plug from the socket during a thunderstorm.
•
Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time. This may damage your hearing.
