2.1.1 INSTALLATION LOCATION
Your stove may not be installed in:
1. Stairwells, except in residential buildings with no more than two
apartments
2. Hallways that are generally accessible
3. Garages
4. Rooms or apartments that are vented by ventilation systems or
hot air heating systems with the aid of fans, unless the safe
operation of the stove is guaranteed
5. Rooms in which highly flammable or explosive materials/mix-
tures are processed, stored or manufactured in such volumes
that danger may result from them exploding or becoming in-
flamed
2.1.2 MULTIPLE INSTALLATIONS
It is possible to have multiple installations connected to a chimney
in accordance with DIN 18160 because the stoves are fitted with a
self-closing firebox door (A1). All of the fireplaces connected to a
chimney must also have been approved for multiple installations!
2.2 ASSEMBLY / INSTALLATION
Your stove may only be installed on flooring made out of non-
combustible materials with sufficient load-bearing capacity. Please
observe the total weight (see technical data)! If required, the load-
bearing capacity must be guaranteed by a sufficiently thick cover-
ing (weight distribution) made out of a non-combustible building
material.
As a result of the design of the stove, it is possible for them to
be quickly tipped over. Therefore, it is absolutely essential in the
models CUBO and PIKO that the stability of the stove is ensured

all connections are welded or fixed with a screw.

safety clearance distances (see 2.2.3 Fire protection) and aligned
horizontally. The feet are height adjustable.
