Removing the Dust Cup Assembly
CAUTION: Always unplug the vacuum
from the electrical outlet before removing
and emptying the dust cup. Failure to do
so, may result in electric shock or
personal injury.
To ensure that your vacuum continues
to clean thoroughly, the dust cup should
be emptied after each use and/or each
time it reaches the "MAX" fill line. (Fig. 17)
1. To remove the dust cup assembly,
press the dust up release button
and lift the dust cup assembly up.

2. To empty the dust cup, hold the dust cup over a garbage
container and press on the dust cup bottom door release
button. (Fig. 20, Fig. 21)

Separating the Dust Cup from the Cyclonic
Chamber
1. Remove the dust cup assembly.
2. While holding the dust cup assembly, twist the dust cup
handle counter clockwise and lift up to separate the
cyclonic chamber from the dust cup. (Fig. 22, Fig. 23,
Fig.27)

Cleaning the Dust Cup & Debris Screen
1. Once the dust cup has been separated from the cyclonic
chamber, it can be rinsed under lukewarm running
water. (Fig. 24) Do not use strong detergents.
2. Wipe the debris screen with a slightly damp cloth to
remove any dust that might be adhering to it. (Fig. 25)
Do not rinse with water. You can lightly tap the debris
screen against the side of the garbage can so that any
fine dust particles that are stuck to the inside of the
debris screen can be removed.

3. Make sure that the dust cup is completely dry before
reassembling.
4. To reassemble the dust cup assembly, insert the debris
screen into the dust cup. (Fig. 26)
5. You will notice that there are triangular marks both
on the cyclonic chamber and on the dust cup. The
cyclonic chamber has one solid triangle and the dust cup
has one solid triangle and one outlined triangle.
6. Align the solid triangle on the cyclonic chamber with the
single solid triangle on the dust cup and press down.

7. Turn the cyclonic chamber clockwise until the solid
triangle on the cyclonic chamber is over the outlined
triangle on the dust cup. (Fig. 29)
