TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENT
CHARGING VOLTAGE ADJUSTMENT
The charger automatically sets charging voltage
to the correct level for the prevailing ambient
temperature. The default ambient temperature
is 25°C. The voltage is reduced at higher
temperatures and increased at lower temperatures.
The exact adjustment is ±0.03 V/°C. The maximum
temperature-adjusted charging voltage is 15.3 V.
14.7 V BUTTON
If the 14.7 V button is pressed, the initial charging
voltage will be set 0.3 V higher than the standard
14.4 V (see fig. D, page 4). You can also press the
14.7 V button if you have an AGM or EFB battery.
Gel batteries must not be charged at 14.7 V as this
can impair battery life. For all other batteries, please
see the maximum charging voltage specified by the
battery manufacturer.
POWER SUPPLY FUNCTIONS
When the charger is switched off, press and hold
the button until the LEDs flash one after the other
from bottom to top. The charger is now in power
supply mode. When in this mode, the charger will
supply power at 13.7 V and a maximum of 25 A.
If a short circuit occurs when a battery is connected
in this mode, the charger will go into fault mode.
If that happens, press the power button to switch
the charger off and then restart the charger (go to
charging or power supply mode).
PREPARATION
Please note
Read the safety instructions before each use and
act accordingly. Incorrect installation may result in
personal injury and material damage. In you have
any questions, please contact a WÜRTH branch,
your WÜRTH sales representative or a WÜRTH-
authorised customer service centre.
First check the battery for internal and external
damage. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to
do this. If the battery is visibly damaged, it must
not be used. Replace it with a new battery. For

batteries which are not maintenance-free, check
that the electrolyte level is correct before charging.
If necessary, top up with distilled water. Clean the
terminals thoroughly before attaching the clips.
CONNECT THE CHARGER
First, connect the red + clip to the positive battery
terminal or the charging point specified by
the vehicle manufacturer. (see fig. A, page 4).
Connect the black - clip to a suitable ground
connection or the charging point specified by the
vehicle manufacturer. (see fig. A, page 4).
Connect the power cable to the mains. (see fig. B,
page 4).
Press the On button and, if you have an AGM/
EFB battery, also the 14.7 V button. (see fig. C
and D, page 4).
AFTER CHARGING
Press the Off button and remove the black - clip first,
followed by the red + clip. Disconnect the power
cable from the mains. Roll up the cable carefully and
put the charger in a safe place.
MAINTENANCE
The air inlet filter should be regularly inspected and
cleaned. Remove the screw at the top of the filter insert
that fixes it to the charger (see fig. I, page 5). The filter
is located in the lower end cap (see fig. III, page 5).
For the greatest possible safety, all batteries should
be checked at least once per month. The charging
process ensures that batteries remain fully charged
without using more water than is lost through regular
evaporation.
WARRANTY
We offer a warranty for this Würth charger from the
date of purchase in accordance with the statutory/
country-specific regulations (with invoice or delivery
note as proof).
Damaged equipment will be repaired or replaced.
Damage resulting from improper handling is
