5) Never force the engine: if smoke comes out of the exhaust pipe, it is toiling – slow down!
6) Even impossible ground can be worked; first of all however, the machine must be well run-in.
7) Never work at full throttle.
8) If during the first working day the machine heats up a little, stop it: it needs rest.
9) Sharpen the blade often, to do this, pull it out from the bar, first removing the blade coupling.

Always use original spare parts, as they are the only ones to offer complete safety and interchangeability.
Always state the serial number when ordering. For engine parts, refer to the specific handbook.

END OF SEASON MAINTENANCE
Wash the machine carefully; change the oil in the engine and the gearbox, clean the air filter, wash the
cutter bar and lubricate it.
If some parts have broken or some screws have loosened during the working season, this is the time to
put everything straight. Put two small wooden boards under the wheels.
Never keep the machine in a stable or near chemical fertilizers, since certain parts could rust.
Thanks to its very light weight, the GRILLO GF2 "central" motormower is ideal for moving in hilly areas
where easy handling is needed.
The cutter bar is available in sizes 97, 110, 115 and 117 cm.
Four sorts of cutter bar with four different types of teeth are available:
– teeth with sharp tip (semi-dense arrangement)
– "MULCHING" teeth without sharp tip
– "ESM" teeth without sharp tip, double blades (without vibrations).
The cutter bar with sharp teeth is provided with side slide-shoes used to ad just the cutting height.
ESM and MULCHING double blades bars have two middle slides for cutting height adjustment. These
teeth allow easier mowing where grass has already been cut without clogging the blade.
