Visual check before each use
Each time before use, the load carrying equipment must be checked by the user, both visually and
functionally (see 9.2).

Upon receipt, check the packing of the load carrying equipment for signs of damage.
Report damaged product immediately to the supplier / forwarding agent.
Store the load carrying equipment in a clean, dry place.
1. Verbally warn all people in the area of risk.
2. Immediately stop all movements of the load.
3. Leave the area of risk.
4. Block off the area of risk.
5. Inform the supervisor.
Check the load carrying equipment to ensure that it is complete (see 9.6).
Tighten all screws with the recommended torque (see 9.7).
Carry out a safety check and document it (see 9.3).
Only use attachment points approved by the manufacturer.
Do not use any damaged attachment points.
Only lift, lower and transport the loads described in the manual.
Only use approved lifting accessories (chains, shackles etc.).
All lifting accessories must be fastened freely at the attachment point and should not
jam.
The crane must be suitable for the task and have the required load capacity.
Crane hooks must be fastened freely at the attachment point and should not jam.
Only use crane hooks with safety catches.
