1 General information
1.1 Information about these operating instructions
Please read the instructions carefully in order to prevent danger for life and limb of the user and third
parties or damage to property.
Please do the following:




1.2 Important information for the equipment operator
The equipment operator is responsible for safe operations and for maintaining the functional safety of
the load carrying equipment.







1.3 Qualified staff for safety-related work
Safety-relevant work and safety checks on the load carrying equipment may only be performed by
qualified staff.
These experts (qualified persons) are people who have sufficient knowledge and experience with
slings and load carrying equipment in order to evaluate the occupational safety of the slings and load
carrying equipment.
Specialists are users who, on account of their training, have special knowledge in dealing with slings
and load carrying equipment.
They possess training certificates for specialist work.

The operating instructions are to be kept close at hand for all users.
Familiarize yourself with the safety regulations straight away.
We do not assume any liability for damage and operating faults which are a direct result
of not following these operating instructions.
The diagrams may vary from the models that are delivered.
However function and work instructions remain the same.
The operating staff must be qualified and familiar through professional training and
experience with the applicable regulations concerning occupational health and safety
and accident prevention.
The operator must be instructed and/or trained in how to use the load carrying
equipment and must use the necessary protective equipment.
The operator needs to have read and understood the safety regulations.
The load carrying equipment may only be used when it is in perfect technical condition.
Servicing/maintenance work and safety checks should be carried out regularly and in
accordance with the prescribed intervals.
All parts of these operating instructions must always be kept in a legible condition at the
place where the load carrying equipment is used. This also applies if the equipment is
sold or reinstalled at a different location.
Independent modifications or any alterations to the load carrying equipment are not
permitted for safety reasons. These alterations or modifications on the load carrying
equipment voids the authority to operate the equipment and the declaration of
conformity.
