To pair the CARD B9.5 disarm the alarm system and disconnect the alarm unit DEFCOM 3.1B
from his main cable.
Connect the alarm unit DEFCOM 3.1B to the PRG007 PROGRAMMER V3 and insert the MAC
ADDRESS code of the CARD.
To activate the CARD B9.5 press it's button 5 times and starting will be evident on the CARD by
the flashing Led (flashes every 3 sec.).
11. BUZZER ENABLING FOR ARMING/DISARMING
To enable or disable the buzzer during the alarm Arming/Disarming execute the following pro-
cedure:
• Enable the SERVICE MODE and after press 6 time the A BUTTON of remote control, one
Beep will confirm the buzzer change.
• Then restore the normal operation of the alarm unit by deactivating the SERVICE
MODE.
When installation and remote controls pairing have been completed and the harness connec-
tor has been connected to the DEFCOM 3.1B alarm central unit, proceed as follows::
1. Turn the ignition key ON and then OFF again.
2. 50 seconds later, the immobilizer will automatically arm: the direction indicators flash brie-
fly once, the LED starts to flash and the Buzzer if it's enabled emits 1 Beep.
3. Disarm the alarm system using the remote control: the direction indicators flash once, the
LED switches OFF and the Buzzer if it's enabled emits 1 Beep.
4. Within 50 seconds start the vehicle engine to check that the connections made are ope-
rating correctly.
5. Switch the engine OFF and turn the ignition key OFF. within 50 seconds arms the alarm
system by remote control: the direction indicators flash twice, the LED flashes and the
Buzzer if it's enabled emits 2 Beep.
6. During the initial 26 seconds immunity period, do the following tests which should pro-
vide a BEEP if they have a positive result (the timing of the immunity period is reset every
time a beep is heard):
• Turn the ignition Key ON.
• Activate any switch protection (opening of the saddle compartment, removal of
the firewall, ...)
• Move the vehicle to activate its tilt protection.
7. Once the immunity period is over, the LED flashes slowly and if the alarm system will be
triggered the siren emits 5 sec. of warning Beeps and after these starts 26 sec. of alarm
cycle; alarms cycles can be triggered by of any of the protection switches, by turning the
ignition key ON or moving the vehicle: the siren will produce its distinctive, modulated
sound, the direction indicators flash and the horn (if connected) will sound continuously.
8. Check the engine immobilizer operates correctly during the alarm cycle.
9. When the alarm system is disarmed, the LED will flashes and the siren will emit a BOOP
sound to signal that it has memorized an alarm trigger: refer to the user manual for the
code of this signal and for all other features/settings of the product.
