Control the direct connection between the keyboard and the matrix:
• connect the keyboard and the matrix by means of a telephone cable
• check the following configurations:
• in the matrix: jumpers for the selection of the communication mode
• in the keyboard setup: type of controlled matrix, reception mode, connection speed (if the operator thinks that
the connection speed has been modified during the SW164OSM matrix setup, it is necessary to proceed
attempting the several possibilities offered by the keyboard setup)
• carry out the test of the matrix channel (not the automatic test)
If the test is unsuccessful, control the configurations; as far as the SW164OSM matrix is concerned, modify the
communication speed of the keyboard (with the setup procedure)
If the problem is still there, matrix communications are probably faulty. Please contact the supplier.
If the test is successful the problem concerns the connecting cables: control the connections with the Rj jack boxes
according to the diagramm at page 8.
If the connection problems persist, please contact the supplier.
