Contents of this manual

This manual contains the description of the KEYPLUS keyboard, with the relevant installation, configuration and use
procedures. Before installing and using the keyboard please read carefully the present manual, in particular the
section concerning the safety rules.

Who is this manual addressed to?

The several sections of the present manual are aimed to satisfy two different operative requirements: the one of the
installer and the one of the operator.
Installer: an adequately competent technician, able to install the security plant and to verify its functioning.
The installer is acquainted with the technical knowledge which is necessary to install, connect and configure the plant.
Only the installer can carry out the operations described in this manual in the section reserved for the "Technical
personnel".
Operator: the final user, able to operate the control keyboard in order to define the operating mode of the whole
system. Multiuser systems can consist of a maximum of 4 operators controlling simultaneously all available units (video
inputs, monitors, etc.).

What to read

The installation procedures, prevalently addressed to the installer, are described from page 7.
The procedures concerning the keyboard use, the direct switching and the programming of the controlled video
system, prevalently addressed to the operator, are described from page 16.
