Keyboard configuration notes
Configuration process is very important to get best performances from the keyboard.
Setting must be carried out only during the installation phase by qualified personnel. Configuration settings will be keep
into keyboard RAM also without power supply connected.
We recommend proceeding with the configuration of the parameters in a systematic way in order to avoid installation
troubles. Some menus are automatically disabled if previous conditions are not satisfied and, in this case, it is not
possible to modify their content.
Configurable parameters are:
• Local keyboard language
• Release of the matrix connected ("standard" or "OSM"; if
subsequently required)
• Data serial communication mode: RS232 or Current Loop
• Password management (connection, reset alarm and programming)
• Choosing of inputs and outputs under the control of each keyboard
• Buzzer, in case of alarm or communication fault between keyboard and video matrix.
Besides, two menus are available in order to perform communication tests.
It's not necessary to connect the keyboard to the matrix during the configuration: this connection has to be made only if
a communication test is performed.
For a complete configuration, we suggest to proceed following the order of shown menus, beginning from menu
no.1.Language to menu no. 8.Buzzer.
