• COMPLEMENTARY INSTRUCTIONS SHEET •
USING THE AM/FM TUNER
Once the equipment has been switched on, press the POWER (F) button,
holding it down for several seconds, and proceed as indicated:
1) Select the required receiving band by pressing the AM/FM key (A).
2) Set the receiving frequency, shown on the display. This is done by
pressing the UP (B) and DOWN (C) tuning keys.
3) Use the two volume-control keys (G) and (H) to adjust the volume.
If the UP or DOWN keys are kept pressed, this starts the automatic
search for the stations. As soon as the key is released, the first station
with a sufficiently strong signal will be latched onto.
• Storing channels
The tuner has 5 storage cells for the FM band and 5 for the AM band.
To store a previously tuned radio station, you must proceed as follows:
1. Press the MEMORY (D) key;
2. Press the memory key (M1, M2, etc.) referred to the progressive
number you wish to assign to the program.
3. Press the MEMORY key again. The message 'OK' will appear on the
display to confirm storage in the memory.
Once a radio station has been stored, the number of the memory cell
associated with it will appear next to the frequency shown on the display.
• Calling up the stored channels
To call up one of the stations stored in channels 1 to 5, it is sufficient to
press the memory key corresponding to the required position (Station
1 > M1, Station 2 > M2...).
