The BGSM-100 is a GSM communicator which, in the absence of a PSTN line, sends vocal or digital alarms, via GPRS,
to a System III or System II receiver. The BGSM-100 is available in three versions:
— The BGSM-100KCA kit including GSM/GPRS communicator electronic card and antenna with 25 cm wire;
— The BGSM-100KEA kit including GSM/GPRS communicator electronic card, antenna with 2 mt wire and metal support.
— The BGSM-100BA kit, including GSM/GPRS communicator, antenna with 25 cm wire and casing;
All information relating to a specific version shall be attested to by reference to the the corresponding code. The word
"Communicator" is being used to describe functions which are common to the various versions.
This manual provides programming and operation of the BGSM-100 GSM/GPRS alarm Communicator.
If there are any special installation requirements, the remote ANT-EU outdoor antenna and the magnetic BGSM-100CA
antenna with 25 cm wire may be used.
, , , , , This Communicator is fixed and shall be installed by Service Persons only (service person is defined as a
person having the appropriate technical training and experience necessary to be aware of hazards to which that
person may be exposed in performing a task and of measures to minimize the risks to that person or other
persons). It shall be installed and used within an environment that provides the pollution degree max 2, over
voltages category II, in non-hazardous, indoor locations only. This manual shall be used with the Installation
Manual of the alarm control panel. All instructions specified within that manual must be observed.
