CAUTION!
Electrostatic sensitive components/modules!
The device contains electronic components which react
sensitively to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Contact with
electrostatically charged persons or objects is hazardous
to these components. In the worst case scenario they will
be destroyed immediately or will fail after start-up.
Observe the requirements in accordance with EN 100015
- 1 to minimise or avoid the possibility of damage caused
by sudden electrostatic discharge.
Also ensure that electronic components do not come into
contact with a nearby power supply.

DESIGN AND FUNCTION
The device socket booster Type 2511 consists of a poly-
amide housing with integrated electronics and a connector
diagram in accordance with DIN EN175301-803 (previously
DIN 43650 Form A).
The device socket is used exclusively to control DC
coils. The built-in rectifier makes it possible to oper-
ate with DC or alternating current.
Function
The device socket booster Type 2511 is used to increase the
power of solenoid valves. The switchable pressure range can
therefore be extended. Furthermore, the power consumption
and the coil temperature, e.g. during continuous operation,
can be reduced considerably. Appropriate solenoid coils must
be individually designed for the particular valve and power
supply. Please contact your Bürkert sales office.
The high pick-up power is generated by overexcitation. When
the valve is actuated, the electronics drop to a low holding
power. The electronics in the 24V DC model are able to
detect the switching point of the valve and automatically
change to the reduced power phase after switching, while the
overexcitation phase of models operating at a different power
supply voltage is a constant 400ms.
