HELMET AND HEADGEAR ASSEMBLY
1.
Insert screws (A) through the openings in the headgear (D).
2. Insert the headgear (D) into the helmet shell (F) as shown in figure 1 and push the
screws (A) through the rectangular openings in the helmet shell.

Put the tilt adjustment (B) on the right side between the screw (A) and helmet shell
(F). Make sure that a small pin is fixed in one of the three holes in the helmet shell.
Choose the right hole for your maximum comfort.
4. Tighten the nuts (C) on the screws (A). Before adequately tightening them, place the
headgear at the most comfortable distance from the filter opening by adjusting the
possition of headgear within the two rectangular holes in the helmet shell.
5. The headgear size (D) can be adjusted by turning the rear wheel (E) in order to fit
any head size. Press the wheel and hold it while turning, release the wheel when
reaching the position of maximum comfort, so that it will lock in the required position.
The headgear is equipped with a replaceable sweatband. Sweatbands are avail-
able through your local dealer.
AUTODARKENING WELDING FILTER AND PROTECTION

1. Loosen both knurled screws and take out the clamp frame (1.).
2. Place the inner protective screen on the inner side of the electro-optical welding
filter as shown in figure (2.).
3. Insert the outer protective screen in the frame of the welding protection helmet (3.).

Insert the electro-optical welding filter in the frame of the welding protection helmet
(4.a). Close the electro-optical welding filter with the clamp frame and fasten it with
two knurled screws (4.b).

When using the electro-optical welding filter with one or more external potentiome-
ters, insert the potentiometer housing into the corresponding opening(s) in the inner
left side of the helmet (5.).
6. Tighten the nut on the shade level potentiometer axis and turn the potentiometer to
one of the extreme positions (9 left or 13 right). Set the large shade level potenti-
ometer knob to the same extreme position just as previously with the potentiometer
axis, and push the knob onto the axis (6.).

3. Insert the outer protective screen in the frame of the welding protection helmet (3.).
4. Insert the electro-optical welding filter in the frame of the welding protection helmet
(4.a). Close the electro-optical welding filter with the clamp frame and fasten it with
two knurled screws (4.b).
PROTECTION SCREEN REPLACEMENT
1. Loosen both knurled screws and take out the clamp frame, the electro-optical filter
and outer protective screen (1.).
2.
Remove the inner protective screen and replace it with a new one (2.).
3. Insert the outer protective screen in the frame of the welding protection helmet (3.).
Insert the electro-optical welding filter in the frame of the welding protection helmet.
4. Close the electro-optical welding filter with the clamp frame and fasten it with two
knurled screws (4.).
Note: Pay attention, that the lenses are mounted in. Do not overtighten the knurled
screw, as this can cause damage to the frame and electro opitcal filter.
