TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Problem A: There is
leakage on the roller
arm assembly.
Problem B: Plunger is
difficult to pull/push.
Problem C: The main
tube will not fill, or
there is leakage from
the fill valve.

CAUSE
1. The roller arm seal is backwards.
2. The connecting areas on the roller
arm were not cleaned properly.
3. Residue on the connecting area
inside of the head.
4. The roller cover is worn or
damaged.
5. The spacer or cap is worn or
damaged.
6. Roller caps not seated completely in
the ends of roller cover.
1. The plunger O-rings are not
lubricated.
1. Residue on the fill valve
components.
2. Valve is not fully seated on fill tube.
SOLUTION
1. Turn the seal around.
2. Clean and properly lubricate
(see Cleanup and Storage
pages 4-6).
3. Clean out any remaining residue
inside the head of the EZ-
Roller™.
4. Replace the roller cover*.
5. Replace the spacer or cap*.
6. Fully seat end caps into roller
cover.
1. Lubricate the plunger O-rings
(see Assembly and Storage of
the Components, page 6)
1. Insert the fill tube into the fill
valve and twist the fill tube
several times to break up the
residue. If the problem persists,
refer to Cleaning the fill valve,
page 5.
2. Push valve body fully down on
fill tube until properly seated.
