Attention: if the speech connection of an internal unit is established and a second internal
unit is activated as well, a speech connection cannot be established for the second inter-
nal unit since the line is already engaged by the first internal unit. The green LED on the
second internal unit blinks 3x to indicate that the line is engaged. Subsequently, the green
LED goes out. In order to establish a speech connection for the second internal unit, the
speech connection of the first internal unit has to be wound up.

Switching off the ring tone on the internal unit
Switch selector switch A (fig.4) at the side of the internal unit to OFF
ring tone on the internal unit. The red LED lights continuously in confirmation.
Modifying the volume of the ring tone
You can modify the volume of the ring tone at the internal unit by
means of slide switch B at the side of the internal unit (fig.4).
Modifying the ring tone in case of a call from the external unit
You can choose between 8 different ring tones for the Object Plus 'HF'. Switch selector
switch A to OFF and immediately back to ON to modify the ring tone of the internal unit.
Then briefly press function key 1. The red and green LED light. Press function key 3 to
hear the first ring tone. With each press on this function key, you hear the next ring tone
in row. To select the desired ring tone, simply wait for both LEDs to go out (± 8s.). The last
heard ring tone is then set.

You can make a call to this appliance with another type of internal unit (for programming,
see user manual service set 10-870). To adjust the ring tone, switch selector switch A to
OFF and immediately back to ON. Then briefly press function key 1. The red and green LED
light. Press function key 1 to listen to the first ring tone. Repeatedly press this function key
