4.4- Charging the battery (Fig. 2)
• Use with the provided charger only.
• Perform charging in ambient environment (+4 °C to +40 °C)
• Connect the battery charger (a) into a suitable wall socket.
• Plug in the charger jack (b) into the charging port (c) on the battery (e).
• The red indicator light (d) indicates charging in progress, the light turns green when the
charging is completed.
• Remove the battery from the battery charger.
• Disconnect the battery charger from the main supply if it will not be used for long period of
time.
4.5- Installing/removing the battery (Fig. 3)
• To install the battery pack, completely insert the battery into the battery compartment.
• The battery is properly installed when you hear a "click" sound.
• To remove the battery pack, press down the locking hooks (on both sides), then pull out the
battery pack.
4.6- Setting the swivel cutter head (Fig. 4)
• The cutter head could be rotated and locked in 4 position (-90°, 0°, 90° and 270°).
• WARNING! Remove the battery pack to avoid unintentional starting of the tool.
• Firmly grasp the handle, then slide the swivel lock to release the cutter head.
• Turn the cutter head to desired position, then release the swivel lock.
• Make sure the cutter head is locked in place before starting the tool.
