5.2.4 Starting RCD Test with "RCD Tripping,
Function Auto"
For this test, the trip current I

RCD test is resumed after the successful prelimi-
nary test at a residual current, rising in steps of 10
% from 40 % IΔN until maximum 140 % IΔN. The

cessarily binding in compliance with VDE, ho-
wever represents a useful aid during trouble
shooting.

logy, motors, etc.).
