3.1 Appropriate Usage
The instrument may only be used under those
conditions and for those purposes for which it
was built.
When modifying or changing the instrument,
the operational safety is no longer guaranteed.
The opening of the instrument for fuse re-
placement, for example, may only be carried
out by professionals. Prior to opening, the in-
strument has to be switched off and discon-
nected from any voltages.
Any maintenance and calibration tasks may
only be carried out by our repair service staff.
The instrument may not be operated if the bat-
tery case is open.
If the instrument is subjected to an extremely
high electro-magnetic field, its functioning
ability may be impaired.
