8.1.3. High-voltage detection

The "H" option (high-voltage alarm) is equipped with a relay that switches if the high voltage
fails. In this way an alarm signal can be triggered. This can be a lamp or a buzzer, for instance.
Both transformers have separated high-voltage alarm detections.
The contacts are two-pole make- or breaker contacts.
The contact rating is 5 A-240 V AC; 5 A-28 V DC.
For an external signal you must use the contacts of both detection pcb's.
The contacts of the two relays may be connected in parallel (make-contact) or in series (breaker
contact).
1. Feed the wiring through the gland and lay it as far as possible away from the
HV-terminal blocks.
2. Connect the wiring to the terminal blocks X1 and X2.
The contacts are drawn in alarm position.

8.1.4. Remote Control

You can switch the power unit on and off from a distance with a potential free contact.
This may be a PLC contact or a switch/relay.
The contact must be able to switch at least 20 VDC/100 mA
The transformers are to be switched separately so you need two external contacts to switch the
power unit on and off.
1. Remove the interconnection of terminal block X3 of the pcb's.
2. Feed the wiring through the gland and lay it as far as possible away from the
HV-terminal blocks.
3. Connect the wiring to terminal block X3 of the pcb's.
When this option is not used, the interconnection of terminal block X3 must always be in place.
