8 EXTRA SETTINGS FOR CELCIA 20 AS WEATHER COMPENSATOR

8.1 Frost protection pump

When the outside temperature is lower than the frost
protection setting, Celcia 20 activates the pump so the
radiators in frost sensitive rooms (e.g. a garage) have
water circulation in order to decrease freezing risk.
Factory setting -10°C. In this case the pump starts at -
10°C and stops again at -9.5°C.
To change the value:
Set the rotary knob on MENU
Go to the SETTINGS option and press OK
Go to the CONTROLLER option and press OK
Go to PUMP FROST and press OK
Set the required value and select OK
Return the rotary knob to the desired programme
and close the lid.

8.2 Deactivate pump at daytime

This function only works when Celcia 20 works as a
weather compensator. The intention is to decrease the
run hours of the pump. It works as follows: If the outside
temperature is higher than the pre-set room temperature
(TEMP-1 to TEMP-5) + this value, Celcia 20 deactivates
the boiler pump.
Example: setting 1°C, room temperature setpoint 20°C.
The boiler is switched off at 20+1+0.5 = 21.5°C and on
at 20+1-0.5 = 20.5°C. Factory setting 1°C.
To change the value:
Set the rotary knob on MENU
Go to the SETTINGS option and press OK
Go to the CONTROLLER option and press OK
Go to CONTROL and press OK
Select WEATH COMPENS and press OK
Go with the OK-button to PUMP OFF DAY
Set the required value and select OK
Return the rotary knob to the desired programme
and close the lid.

8.3 Deactivate pump at night

This function only works when Celcia 20 works as a
weather compensator. The goal is to decrease the run
hours of the pump. It works as follows: If the outside
temperature is higher than the pre-set room temperature
(ECO-TEMP) + this value, Celcia 20 deactivates the
boiler pump.
Example: setting -5°C, room temperature setpoint 15°C.
The boiler is switched off at 15-5+0.5 = 10.5°C and on
at 15-5-0.5 = 9.5°C. Factory setting -5°C.
To change the value:
Set the rotary knob on MENU
Go to the SETTINGS option and press OK
Go to the CONTROLLER option and press OK
Go to CONTROL and press OK
Select WEATH COMPENS and press OK
Go with the OK-button to PUMP OFF NGHT
Set the required value and select OK
Return the rotary knob to the desired programme
and close the lid.
8.4 Booster function for weather-compensated
heating
A booster function allows for accelerated heating up,
following in increase of the set temperature. Should this
lead to problems (skyrocketing temperature levels), the
booster function may be shut off. The booster function is
activated at delivery.
Set the rotary knob on MENU
Go to the SETTINGS option and press OK
Go to the CONTROLLER option and press OK
Go to CONTROL and press OK
Select WEATH COMPENS and press OK
Go with the OK-button to BOOSTER
Select YES or NON and select OK
Return the rotary knob to the desired programme
and close the lid.
