and close the lid.

7.2 4 examples of using the digital input

7.2.1 Motion detector 1

function:
if, for instance, a motion detector detects
no motion for 30 minutes, the temperature
has to go to ECO-TEMP, in case of motion
the controller goes to the normal operating
situation.
Setting:
if the motion detector shuts a relay when
there is motion, set the controller as follows:
select method 4 and set value X at 0
minutes and value Y at 30 minutes.

The input can be used in 7 possible modes, see table
below:
7.2.2 Motion detector 2
function:
if a motion detector detects motion, the
temperature has to go to TEMP-5, otherwise
to the normal operating situation.
Setting:
if the motion detector shuts a relay when
there is motion, set the controller as follows:
select method 1 and set value X at 0
minutes and value Y at 30 minutes.

7.2.3 Water-pressure switch

function:
if the pressure in the CH-system is too low,
a message follows on the display.
Setting:
Connect a water-pressure switch to the
digital input and set the controller as follows:
Select method 6 and set values X and Y on
1 minute to prevent nervous behaviour. If
the water-pressure switch activates, the text
"digital in open" appears on the display.
7.2.4 Door contact
function:
If the door opens, the temperature goes
to ECO-TEMP after 3 minutes. When one
closes the door, the controller returns to the
normal operating situation.
Setting:
Connect a door contact to the digital input
and set the controller as follows: select
method 3 and set value X at 3 minutes and
value Y at 0 minutes.
