• ALL INSTALLATION OPERATIONS MUST BE CARRIED OUT WITH THE VEHICLE PARKED AND THE ENGINE OFF.
• Always connect the negative clamp to the passenger compartment battery before carrying out any installation work.
NOTE: For hybrid and/or electric cars, comply with the manufacturer's safety regulations.
• Carefully asses the position of the device, according to the available space and length of the power cables.
• Strictly comply with operations indicated in this manual.
• The device should be placed in accessible area only to service staff .
• Installation staff are not authorised to remove warranty seals and/or access the inside of the product and accessories.
• Installation staff are not authorised to make modifi cations and/or adjustments to the product and its accessories.
• The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for damages caused to property and/or people, caused by the incorrect in-
stallation of the product.
• NOTE FOR INSTALLATION: In order to avoid human exposure to electromagnetic fi elds, the distance of the VTS device with
respect to the body of the vehicle occupants must be greater than 15 cm.
• Install the T.42 Premium telematic device in the passenger compartment. We recommend the areas highlighted in fi gure 2.
• Do not place the device under the mats, walking or loading areas.
