Route the lacing of the trailer-hitch wiring harness
(24) for the left taillight along the existing cables
toward the rear to the taillight and secure it with cable
ties.
Pull the 8-pin connection of the taillight wiring harness
(b) off the left taillight (E3) and connect it to the 8-pin
plug of the trailer-hitch wiring harness (24) (connector
X57/1). Push the 8-pin connector of the trailer-hitch
wiring harness (24) onto the left taillight (E3).
Route the lacing of the trailer-hitch wiring harness
(24) for the right taillight along the existing cables
toward the rear to the taillight and secure it with cable
ties.
Pull the 8-pin connection of the taillight wiring harness
(b) off the right taillight (E4) and connect it to the 8-pin
plug of the trailer-hitch wiring harness (24) (connector
X57/2). Push the 8-pin connector of the trailer-hitch
wiring harness (24) onto the right taillight (E4).
