Check the hydraulic hoses regularly for leaks, damage and ageing. Replace
damaged hydraulic hoses without delay. The new hydraulic hoses must meet the
technical specifications of the manufacturer.
Leaks pose a hazard to the environment. Collect leaking hydraulic oil and dispose

of it properly.

Wear safety goggles when checking for leaks.

Equip the hedge trimmer with pipe burst protection to prevent sudden
disconnection or bursting of a hydraulic hose. Pipe burst protection must never
be removed.
Safety information for assembly, maintenance and repair work
Assembly, maintenance and repair work may be carried out only by authorized

and qualified specialists.

Never work on the machine unless it is shut down. Follow the procedures for
shutting down the machine described in the manufacturer's operating manual.
Wear close-fitting clothing and the required personal protection equipment.

Secure the hedge trimmer with suitable support elements if you have to carry out
maintenance when the hedge trimmer is in raised position.
Depressurize the hydraulic system before working on the hedge trimmer.

Parts of the hedge trimmer can become very hot. Allow the hedge trimmer to cool.

Handle and dispose of oil and grease in accordance with regulations.

Immediately after completion of work, all safety and protective devices must be re-

attached and/or activated.
Before operating the machine again, observe the information in the operating
•
manual of the manufacturer of the implement carrier or carrier vehicle.
