6) PROTECÇÃO CONTRA O SOBREAQUECIMENTO
Não cubra o emissor térmico. Não o use para secar roupa. Se for coberto, existe o risco de se produzir um sobreaquecimento.
O aparelho está equipado com um dispositivo de segurança que o desliga em caso de sobreaquecimento.
O emissor começará a funcionar automaticamente depois de o problema estar solucionado.
A repetição desta anomalia pode provocar danos ou avarias que não estão cobertas pela garantia.
7) MANUTENÇÃO
Este emissor térmico não requer nenhum tipo de manutenção especial.
Limpe o pó com um pano macio e seco. SÓ REALIZE ESTA OPERAÇÃO QUANDO O EMISSOR ESTIVER DESLIGADO E FRIO.
NUNCA UTILIZE SOLVENTES NEM PRODUTOS ABRASIVOS.
É recomendável, quando começa a época de aquecimento, limpar as superfícies do emissor (SEMPRE FRIO E DESLIGADO) do pó e de
qualquer tipo de resíduos.
8) AVARIAS POSSÍVEIS
- Certifique-se de que a corrente eléctrica chega ao aparelho, de que o interruptor está ligado e de que premiu a tecla "Stand-by".
- Certifique-se de que a temperatura seleccionada no termóstato é superior à temperatura da divisão.

1) GENERAL WARNINGS

When this electrical appliance is used, basic safety precautions must be taken. The following instructions must be read and obeyed in order to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or personal injuries:
* The guarantee does not cover any damage resulting from failure to follow these instructions.
* The mains voltage must be that indicated on the appliance ratings plate.
* The electric heat emitter must no be used in the presence of gases, explosives or inflammable objects.
* WARNING: In order to prevent overheating, the heat emitter must not be covered by items, such as clothing, blankets or curtains etc.
* The surfaces are hot when the appliance is switched on.
* This appliance is not designed to be manipulated by persons (including children) with physical, sensorial or mental handicaps, with little
experience or knowledge, unless under the supervision of a responsible person in accordance with the instructions on use of the appliance.
Children must be under supervision to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
* The heat emitter must not be located immediately underneath a mains socket.
* DANGER: If the mains power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the HAVERLAND Technical Assistance Service.
* The appliance must be disconnected from the mains power before performing any maintenance or cleaning operations.
* The heat emitter must not be employed near a bath, shower or swimming pool.
* The appliance is designed for use only within the home.

2) INSTALLATION

The heat emitter appliance must be wall-mounted and its location must be suitable selected.

It must not be installed close to furniture, curtains or other appliances.
•
It must not be installed in corners so that it is confined.
•
It must not be installed close to doors.
•
The appliance must be installed so that its switches and other controls are out of reach of a person in a bath or shower (Figure 1)
