Use a fault current circuit breaker if using the power tool in
damp environments is unavoidable. The use of a fault current
circuit breaker reduces the risk of electric shock.
a) Please be careful, watch what you are doing, and use
common sense while working with a power tool. Do not use a
power tool if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or
medication. A moment of carelessness while using power tools may
result in serious injuries.
b) Always wear personal protective gear as well as safety
glasses. Depending on type and use of the power tool, wearing
personal protective gear like dust mask, nonslip safety shoes,
protective helmet, or hearing protection will reduce the risk of
injuries.
c) Avoid accidental start up. Ensure that the power tool is switched
off before picking it up, carrying it, or connecting it to the power
outlet and/or the battery. Keeping your finger on the power switch
while carrying the power tool, as well as having the power tool is not
switched on when connecting it to the power supply may result in
accidents.
d) Remove adjustment tools and wrenches before switching the
power tool on. A tool or socket located in a moving part may lead to
injuries.
e) Take care to keep a normal body position, ensure secure
footing, and keep your balance so that you can better control
the power tool in unexpected situations.
f)
Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery.
Keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothing, jewellery, or long hair may be caught by moving parts.
g) If dust vacuum and extraction equipment can be installed,
ensure that such equipment is properly connected and used
correctly. The use of dust vacuum equipment may reduce risks
posed by dust.
