The left LCD panel displays "SAFE" and the right LCD panel displays the upper speed limit

The LCD displays run modes "StA" for about 2 seconds.

The set speed value is shown in the left display, and the set time value is shown in the right
x
display. Then set the motor rotary speed and time.
After pressing the speed knob or time knob, the instrument begins to run at the set speed.

The actual speed and time remaining are shown in the LCD. If the time has reached zero,
the shaker stops its motion.
Switching modes
Switch the operating mode as follows:
Turn OFF the instrument with the main switch.
x
Hold down both the speed control and the time knob together and turn ON the instrument at the
x
mains switch. After about 5 seconds, you can let go of the knobs.
Switch between operating Modes A and B in order.
x
Supported load
In order to ensure safe operation, the shaker must only be operated with a
x
maximum load of 7.5 kg.
Make sure the shaking platform is always clean and level. The individual shaking vessels must
x
be placed evenly and fastened securely in the middle of the shaking platform whether either
single or multiple vessels are being used.
Troubleshooting
Instrument does not work when switched ON:
x
- check the power cable is fitted securely and the power is switched on.
- check that the fuse is not faulty.
The speed cannot reach set value:
x
- check that the platform is not overloaded.
The motor does not start by pressing the speed knob and time knob:
x
- check that the time is not set to zero.

The shaker can be equipped with a special adapter and cable which can be used to link it
to an external device (Standard 9-pin interface to connect with the PC).
The cable between the shaker and the computer uses EIA Standard RS232C communicatio
x
line, corresponding to the DIN 66020 interface.
