2.2 WORKING MODES OF THE APPLICATION
The first time the system is used, the type of use
required has to be specified.
?? 'Principal work place' allows complete handling of
the system and communication with the networks
of centrals. This is the default option.
?? 'Secondary work post' allows the installation of a
supplementary 'client' dependent on
post already installed in another computer in the
same
local
network.
secondary post cannot access the technical
configuration of the system.
?? 'Remote work post', allows the handling of the

autonomous mode. The updating of possible
changes in the configuration and the capture of
events is effected under request through a modem
connection.
If you are sure of the configuration necessary for your exploitation mode, mark the optio
2.3 HANDLING THE USERS
By default, the system creates the user 'Administrator' with availability of
all the abilities required. It is advisable to assign an access key to each
user.
You can create as many users as you wish, with
- 'Agent level 1' is a user with only the right to make enquiries.
- 'Agent level 2' is a user who handles the system but cannot make
important changes in the configuration of the access control.
- 'Agent level 3' is a user ha ndling the system, with full right to change
the access control.
The 'Administrator' handles the whole system, and particularly its
technical configuration.
If there are a large number of users, it is sensible to identify them clearly
and assign them diffe rent access codes.
2.4 TECHNICAL HANDLING
This section details the possibilities of configuring the installation.
Most of the configuration is effected during the process of installation of the system, after starting up the centrals
and the readers .
The configuration should be done in the following order:
- Creation of networks
- Creation of centrals,
- Creation of readers.
