1.5 MODES OF USE

The configuration of the hardware of the central enables us to work using two different systems
Autonomous mode (with PALM)
In this work mode, the central must necessarily carry the IRDA connection module and it will be essential to use
the PICADOR handling programme, for use with PALM
Centralised mode (with PC)
In this work mode, any modification of the installation will be done through the DIRECTOR+ handling
programme.

1.5.1 AUTONOMOUS MODE WITH PALM

In this work mode, we can only work with one central, it does not allow the connection of different centrals in
parallel, the central is handled only and exclusively with the PALM PICADOR programme.
To use the central in autonomous mode,
all the switches must be in position OFF
except nos. 7 and 8.
