5. Installation and operation
This chapter includes how to install the equipment and instructions for a first set-up.
Note: Inspect the instrument before first use and during unpacking. If necessary, contact the supplier who
supplied the equipment and keep the original packaging.
5.1 Installation
Locate the instrument in a stable place, with a horizontal surface and consider the maximum dimensions
of the product. Perform the distillations under vacuum and with the device placed under an extractor hood
5.1.1 Base adjustment
Adjust the base to your workplace by turning the feet as shown in figure 6.
5.1.2 Working position and electrical connections
This equipment has a blocking lock for transport purposes. Proceed as follows so the device adopts its
working position:
-Hold the lift with one hand in the same position as the equipment has been provided. Then, with the
other hand, unscrew the locking key located on the back of the appliance (A).
-Once the lock has been removed, release the lift and you will see that it begins to rise slowly to the
working position. The covered distance is 150 mm.
-Connect the equipment to the power supply (B)
-Connect the thermostatic bath to the device (C)
