5.2.3 Adjusting the angle of rotation
The immersion angle inside the thermostatic bath is, by default, 30°. If you need to operate with another
angle, for example, when operating with a bottle of different dimension, the angle can be adjusted:
-Turn off the instrument
-With one hand hold the glass assembly, that is, the condenser next to the collecting flask; with the other
hand, turn and open the key located on the motor (see chapter 5.1.3).
-Once the key is open, adjust the angle that best suits you. When the angle is adjusted, close the key to
fix the rotation position.
5.2.4 Speed adjustment
Perform the following instructions if you want to change the rotation speed of the equipment:
-Press the "speed" button and, by turning the control knob, select the required speed. Press the control
knob to confirm the action.
5.2.5 Timer setting
If you wish to work during specific periods of time, proceed as follows:
-Press the "timer" button and choose the desired operating time (min) by turning the control knob.
-Press the control knob to confirm
-To turn off this function, set the time value to "0" and press the control knob to confirm
5.2.6 Distillate conditions
To achieve optimum distillation conditions, the distillation energy that is provided by the thermostatic
bath must be removed by the condenser. To ensure this, operate the instrument according to the following
standard rule:
-Cooling water: max. 20°C
-Steam: 40°C
-Thermostatic bath: 60°C
