Attaching / Detaching the Carpet Glider
• Attaching: Place the carpet glider (16) on the cleaning foot (9) with the fl oor cloth
fi tted and press it on fi rmly. The carpet glider must engage audibly.
• Detaching: Press down the carpet glider on one of the locking lugs to release it from
the cleaning foot and detach it.
Attaching / Detaching the Cleaning Foot
• Attaching: Guide the frame (6) over the mount for the cleaning foot (10) and press
it down. If necessary, twist the frame from side to side slightly as you do this. It must
engage audibly.
• Detaching: Press the locking lug on the back of the frame and pull the cleaning foot
off the frame at the same time.
Inserting / Removing the Main Unit in the Frame
• Inserting: Place the main unit (5) into the mount for the cleaning foot (10) and press
it into the frame (6). The main unit must engage audibly.
• Detaching: Slide the release button on the frame upwards and pull the main unit out
of the frame at the same time.
Inserting / Removing the Water Tank in the Main Unit (Picture A)
• Inserting: Insert the water tank (11) into the main unit (5). Both release buttons (7)
must engage audibly.
• Detaching: Press the two release buttons on the water tank and pull the water tank
out of the main unit at the same time.
Attaching / Detaching Attachments
The attachments (19, 20) can only be used together with the main unit (5), without
the frame (6) and handle rod (3).
1. If necessary, remove the main unit from the frame (see "Inserting / Removing the
Main Unit in the Frame").
2. First fi t the attachment you want on the adapter (18):
– Attaching: Place the attachment you want on the adapter so that the locking lugs
on the adapter fi t in the recesses in the attachment. Twist the adapter clockwise to
secure it.
– Detaching: Twist the adapter anticlockwise and pull it out of the attachment.
3. Fit the adapter with the attachment on the main unit:
– Attaching: Plug the adapter into the mount in the main unit. It must engage audibly.
– Detaching: Press the locking lug on the back of the main unit and pull the adapter
off the main unit at the same time.
