Commissioning the product
INCORRECT PRESSURE IN INTERSTITIAL SPACE
If the operating pressure in the interstitial space does not meet the specifica-
tions, the product may be damaged or destroyed.
• Verify that the operating pressure in the interstitial space of the tank corre-
sponds to the operating pressure specified in the technical data of these
operating instructions.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
Verify that the product has been properly mounted.
Verify that the product has been properly connected electrically.
Verify that both valves are in the position "Normal Operation".
Verify that the tightness test of the interstitial space has been properly per-
formed.
Verify that the vacuum in the interstitial space has been reduced to -
420 mbar.
Verify that the product is connected to the interstitial space.
Verify that a liquid barrier has been installed.
Verify that the housing of the product has been closed.
1. Switch on the power supply via the on-site mains fuse.
- The green pilot lamp lights up.
- The pump controller keeps the operating vacuum constant. Once the
set vacuum is reached, the pump of the product switches off.
- The system is now ready for operation.
2. Have a specialised company certify the installation, commissioning and
test of the leak detector, see chapter "Certificate of expert").
