ATTACHING THE DEVICE

Please Note!
Only hang the training device in stur-
dy door frames. Make sure that the
door frame can withstand the force
that is applied to it.
Never attach the training device near
stairs.
The clearance space must include the
space required for an emergency dis-
mount. If training devices are set up in
the immediate vicinity of one another,
they can share one clearance space.
The clearance space in the direction
from which you access the training
device must be at least 0.6 m greater
than the exercise area.
Depending on your body size, choose
an appropriate door frame so that there
is plenty of space at the sides and above
and enough free space for training (Pic-
ture E).
1. Select an appropriate door frame.
When you do this, note that the max-
imum loading capacity of the pull-up
bar is reduced the further apart it is
pulled:

can pull the pull-up bar apart (Pic-
ture B).
3. Twist the two ends (1) in opposite
directions to adjust the pull-up bar to
the length you want (Picture C).

How quickly progress is made depends

on a person's particular physical condi-
tion. You should start slowly and start with
shorter sessions and give the body time
to adjust. The more consistently and reg-
ularly you train, the longer you can make
the sessions.
Do not adjust the pull-up bar
all the way to the correct length
straight away, but instead leave
1 to 2 cm of play so that it can
still be placed in the door frame
without any problems. Only pull
it out to the correct length once
it is in the door frame and fi x it in

height at which you can hang easily,
but your head will still have enough
clearance above during training.
The two ends must fi t straight and at
the same height on the inner frame.

Do not train if you are feeling
tired or exhausted.
Never train on a full stomach. Do
not eat anything for approx. one
hour before and after training.
Always remember that the body
needs a lot of fl uid during sport-
ing activity.
