This photo shows the elevator linkage. The elevator horn should be glued in place using the method
described previously. Glue the end of the snake outer sleeve (19) to the fuselage side using cyano.
Take great care to avoid adhesive running inside the snake sleeve.
The picture shows the rudder and elevator servos installed on the servo plate (26). Remove the
standard output levers from the servos, and cut off the unwanted arms as shown. Round off the
underside of the servo output arms so that they do not foul or rub on the fuselage when installed. Set
the servos to centre (neutral) using a servo tester, then re-fit the output arms on the output shafts.
If you intend to fit the larger of the specified LiPo batteries, the servos should be installed aft of the
cross-piece. However, if you opt for the lighter power system, the servos should be fitted forward of
the cross-piece; the snakes are long enough for either version. In this case the battery support (28)
must be shortened to make room for the servos.
Bevel the bottom of the side edges of the servo plate (26) before gluing it in the fuselage.
The photo shows the prepared servos installed in the fuselage. Fix the snake outer sleeves (18) and
(19) to the fuselage sides using cyano. Stick the foam wing tape (30) to the wing saddle as shown in
the illustration.
