Installing the control unit
–
Take off the passenger seat/passenger seat cover (see
Owner's Manual).
Tip
For easier assembly, the front rider's seat can also
be taken off.

Slip out connector

Plug in control unit

Remove screws
–
Disconnect negative cable
take it out of the holders on the battery support bracket.

Pull battery support bracket
–
Mount control unit

–
Mount and tighten screws

Hook in negative cable
support bracket and connect with the 12-V battery.

The function of the heated grips must be activated
after assembly using the KTM diagnostics tool!
Have this carried out in an authorized KTM work-
shop!
The heated grips are operated via the combination
instrument.
Final steps
–
Mount the passenger seat/passenger seat cover (see Owner's
Manual).

Set time and date.
–
Check headlight setting (see Owner's Manual).
