Starting the SmartReader
1. Activate the SmartReader (a Single-Click on the trigger).
The introduction screen displays briefly:
By default, the SmartReader will be in memory mode.
A screen similar to the following displays:
Note: If you have already changed the SmartReader to non-memory mode, a
Bluetooth connection attempt is made. See Bluetooth Connection (on pg 24) for
further detail.
Selecting an operating mode
1. Start the SmartReader. See Starting the SmartReader (above).
2. Identify the current operating mode.
