1.1 CONNECTION OF THE PUSHBUTTONS/SELECTORS

1.2 CONNECTION TO THE SAFETY DEVICES

The control unit is suitable for the use with traditional safety devices like safety beams and edges with a normally close
contact. If necessary, it is possible to use resistive edges (8,2K) and the safety beams' functioning test, as required by the norms
EN13241-1 and EN12453.
MIND THE CONNECTIONS! No external tension (230V ac or other) must reach the low tension terminal board
otherwise, the main card will get irremediably damaged. Do not short-circuit or overload the control unit 24Vac output
line. In the 24 Vac line the max. absorption allowed is 140mA. The connections of the 24 Vac power supply (10-11) and
of the terminals (7), (8) ,(9) must be completely separated.

DESCRIPTION
The power supply must be taken by the
24Vac control unit's output. It is not necessary
to follow the polarity of the two wires.

Must be linked to terminals 1 (up) and
2 (com)
Must be linked to terminals 2 (com)
and 3 (down)
Link to terminals 4 (start/stop) and 5
(com)
Must be linked to terminals 5 (com)
and 6 (stop)
CONNECTION TERMINALS
They must be connected to the
terminals 10 and 11 (24Vac).
The contact NORMALLY CLOSED of
the receiving safety beam must be
connected to the terminals 8 (com)
and 9 (photo).
