IMPORTANT
If the Out-of-Range function is activated and you turn the Nursery Unit OFF the Out-of-
Range Alarm will sound. Turn the Nursery Unit ON again to reactivate the function.
TO STOP THE OUT-OF-RANGE ALARM:
4.2 - SOUND TRANSMISSION (VOX)
Your Angelcare ® monitor is equipped with a voice-activated system. The Nursery Unit
will be activated and transmit sounds to the Parent Unit only when it captures sounds.
The sensitivity dial allows controlling the level of sound picked up and transmitted by the
Nursery Unit.
TO TEST SOUND:
Ask someone to speak into the Nursery
Unit or place the unit near a radio to ensure
that sound is being picked up.
IMPORTANT
To avoid feedback (whistling), keep
both units at least 3 meters apart.
Turn the Parent
OR
Unit OFF
Turn the Nursery
Unit ON
IF YOU HEAR NO SOUND:
• Check that both units are switched on.
• Check that both units are plugged into
functioning electrical outlets.
• Check the batteries in both units
(replace or recharge them as necessary
per unit).
• Bring the Parent Unit closer to the
Nursery Unit.
