7 Initial operation
CAUTION!
To avoid unnecessary contamination the installation of the smoke switch should be undertaken only just
before the initial operation.
In case of early installation there is a risk that the smoke switch is contaminated by construction dust. This
shortens the life of the smoke switch considerably!
7. 1 Remove cover
Remove inspection caps between cover panels (1.) / Remove protective cap (2.).

Remove middle cover panel and moving-leaf cover panel (3.) / Remove the foam lining (4.).

7.2 Installation and connection of the smoke switch
Clip on smoke switch.

Plug in 24 V cable of the of electrical hold-open device (1) and the power pack (2).
X
Stow away the excess cable into the power pack housing.
