8. Confi gure Repeater Mode with WPS
The easiest way of confi guring the product as a repeater is via the WPS function.
A prerequisite for this is of course that your WLAN router also supports WPS.
Proceed as follows for confi guration:
• If this has not been done yet, plug the repeater into a mains socket.
• Activate WPS at your WLAN router. It is best to also observe the instructions of your manufac-
turer for this.
For most routers, it is necessary that the WPS button is pushed for approx. 3 seconds. The
active WPS is then usually displayed by a slowly fl ashing LED.
• Activate the WPS function of the repeater now. For this push the WPS button on the front for
about 7-10 seconds.
• The connection is established automatically. This will take about 30 minutes.
• Now continue with chapter 13 of these instructions.
